Weather
I've been taken over by a severe case of lethargy this past week, too lazy even for blogging....not that there's been much going on to blog about - apart from the weather.
What weather though! On Monday we had a smidgen of snow - not enough for fun but enough to close a few schools in the area. On Tuesday we had considerably more snow and virtually all the schools were closed...... and throughout the day we experienced a veritable smorgasbord of weather - sun, wind, snow, rain, hail, sleet - we had it all - a bit disappointing for the kids who had envisaged a day off school, building snowmen and throwing snowballs in a winter wonderland.
On Friday it started again, and by the time I left work at 12 my car was covered in a thick layer of the white stuff. That morning I had unusually nabbed a space right by the building which was great because I didn't have to walk far in the slush but bad because after clearing the windscreen I got in the car and then realised I hadn't thought to clear the side window.....think of the most stupid thing I could do at this point........yes, I started to wind the window down to clear it - duh! I ended up with a lapfull of snow which was bad enough but even worse when I got out of the car to scrape off what was left on the window and realised that my stupidity had been witnessed by a class full of Yr 4 children!
Yesterday we had about a month's worth of rain in one day and my little roller-skate of a car had to surf through inches of water in some places whilst I held my breath and debated whether I loved my boots enough to take them off if the unthinkable happened and I had to wade to safety......thankfully I didn't have to find out.
So another week (another post) dominated by the good old british weather. If nothing else at least it's given the media another stick to gleefully bash the whole country with!

Well, it's certainly taken their minds off bloggers, but they still seem to be giving parents a hard time. More snow, perhaps?
Hey I like your picture from inside the car. Lots of people don’t like driving in the snow but I think its great fun... as long as you don’t get stuck, LoL.
To mark the last post of my year long blog a quick thank you for following it.
